120 Elderly Gets Health Service

As many as 120 elderlies at RW 01, Lagoa Urban Village, Koja Sub-district, North Jakarta got health service at Anggrek Ungu II Integrated Healthcare Center.
Elderlies should regularly check their condition
Irma Wahyuni, healthcare personnel, said the services are body temperature, weight and height, blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid.
"Elderlies should regularly check their condition as motoric and health declines at their age," she said, Thursday (1/18).
Last Year, E. Jakarta PMI Provided 33,547 Health and Social ServicesShe added that this program is routinely held every month by involving health personnel from Lagoa Urban Village Health Community Center.
"The healthcare center also gave health service for people under 60 years old. Today's service was given to 30 people," she added.
Lagoa Urban Village Head, Suratno Widodo, admitted early health check up is important for the elderly. It aims to monitor their health and guarantee their nutrition.
"Thanks to the personnel who were already caring their health. The personnel also gave door to door service for those who can not attend to healthcare center," he stated.
Meanwhile, Suripah, one of local residents, admitted routinely visit the healthcare center to check her condition.
"Thanks for the service given to us," she stated.
